It is constructed of two parts, the front piece is a simple, elegant metal leaf while the back is a small wooden case housing the electronics. It tracks stress, sleep, and activity data and syncs via Bluetooth with your mobile phone. Feel like your daily life is too crazy to deal with daily charging, the Leaf has a 6 month battery life. Further illustrating their commitment to produce wearable devices for women, Bellabeat has stated that they will included software to help you track your period, contraception intake, and ovulation cycle. Units that were part of the original preorders came with both a chain so you can wear it as a necklace and a leather strap to wear it as a bracelet. We are trying to confirm if the next wave of Leafs also come with those accessories.

No problem. Heard back from Bellabeat, all LEAFs will ship with the necklace chain but you are not guaranteed to receive the bracelet strap. It seems that they had a few leather bracelets left over from the preorders and will include them in random packages shipping in the next wave. According to Bellabeat they will soon be launching an accessory section of the website “where you will be able to purchase different styles of bracelets and necklaces and customize your LEAF.”
