It seems like we were not the only ones intrigued by Nixie when it was announced as one of the finalist’s of Intel’s Make It Wearable Challenge. It was just announced that Nixie has won Intel’s competition, taking home $500,000 to help make it a reality. Nixie is a selfie taking mini drone. It is worn on the wrist and includes an integrated camera. Once deployed, it keeps track of where you are allowing it to take an aerial photo of you and then return to your wrist.
